This is a 6 sec promo for the DVD, "What Remains - The life and work of Sally Mann". My teacher wanted us to be able to promote a product, while showing a well known motion graphics technique by Digital Kitchen. I picked the "cut-outs", but instead of moving it forward, I decided to move it back into place, like the camera is focusing on the elements, and then it turns into the photograph.

Sally Mann is a fine artist, who is best known for her "Immediate Family" series of photographs. She took photographs mostly of her children, as they grew up on their secluded house in the Virginia Mountains. Many criticized her for the nudity, but I think these photographs are some of the most beautiful black and white photographs I have seen. It has even inspired me to get a vintage kodak camera and play with some black and white 120 film. :)
