A few months ago my Nikon D40 flash decided to stop working. No particular reason, I didn't drop the camera, wasn't rough with it... It just wouldn't flash anymore. I left the camera for a while thinking that eventually I'll just have to ship it off to Nikon to get it repaired. Well today after searching for a solution online and not finding anything, I had the idea of taking it apart and having a look.
While searching online I also found that there were alot of other people with the same problem, but the solution was nowhere to be found... so, I decided to make a quick video on how I fixed my Nikon D40 flash.
