High school student Monineath Bunyay shows that small ideas can inspire change with her project to raise funds for CCF.
Monineath, 17, who attends school in Phnom Penh, came up with the 100 Riels Project asking for small donations to help make a big difference. Fellow pupils and teachers gave 100 riel (around 0.025 US cents) or more each, raising $140 in total. It might not sound much but for CCF, it goes a long way. It’s enough for us to send 15 children to school with a healthy breakfast for a month.
Monineath hopes her actions will inspire others to get involved with CCF in a small or grand scale.
