Relying on Spok for more than 25 years, The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) extended its communication capabilities with Spok Mobile and has rolled out the secure messaging solution to more than 2,500 users. Kelly Howard, director of hospital communications call center, led the charge in spreading adoption across the organization. Along the way, she learned what it takes to be successful—and what not to do as well.
She shares details of MUSC’s phased rollout approach starting with a small pilot and extending to residents and other hospital staff.
