A group of Young Global Leaders travel to Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, which is home to 185,000 people. They meet with various camp residents and learn that by building leadership skills through mentoring opportunities, that a systemic change can be brought about in the model of what a refugee camp is.
The Young Global Leaders, or Forum of Young Global Leaders, is an independent non-profit organisation. Launched by Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum in 2004, the Young Global Leaders are governed by a board of twelve world and industry leaders.
