On Saturday, October 29, 2011 members woke up with The Field Museum to enjoy a complimentary chocolate-themed breakfast, a members' only viewing of Chocolate Around the World, and a lecture, presented here, by Dr. Gary Feinman.
Dr. Gary Feinman co-curated Chocolate Around the World, which opened at The Field Museum and traveled around the United States. He has conducted archaeological field research in Oaxaca, Mexico for more than 30 years. His knowledge and expertise is in archaeology is extensive, having also led archaeological research in China for 15 field seasons! He is the author of more than a dozen books and over 100 articles.
Feinman expands our understandings of the delicious treat, chocolate and its fascinating history.
