A spiritual prequel to 2015's 'The Violin', this 5-min short film once again takes viewers back to the old days of colonial Singapore, this time in the mid-1800s when emigrants arrived in droves after Singapore became a free port.
The story follows the life of a Chinese coolie and erhu player, and how his beloved instrument saved his life after an ill-fated accident.
