The idea was that the particles represent consciousness within this space and as we watch and listen to what is immediate, we see a chaotic system in the background that finds order.
The melody of simple hand drawn movements was conceived subconsciously, I waited until it came to me and was realised in a moment of inspiration (pardon the cheese). In retrospect the key phases of the melody's time signature fit the 2, 3 5 sequence of the Fibonacci ratio hinting that our thoughts are at some level influenced by the mathematics of our biology.
From the perspective at the end you see the triangular outline of the Serpinski gasket which has been populating the space you watch. Symbolic of the pattern underneath probability and the chaotic system we are immersed in.
Inspiration for this came from 'Deep simplicity' by John Gribbin and 'The tao of Physics' by Fritjof capra (quoted below).
“Quantum theory thus reveals a basic oneness of the universe. It shows that we cannot decompose the world into independently existing smallest units. As we penetrate into matter, nature does not show us any isolated "building blocks," but rather appears as a complicated web of relations between the various parts of the whole. These relations always include the observer in an essential way. The human observer constitute the final link in the chain of observational processes, and the properties of any atomic object can be understood only in terms of the object's interaction with the observer.”
