History is in the eyes of the beholder. Three people of different backgrounds portray Gertrude Stein, consciously and unconsciously inserting their unique perspectives into her story. Participants were asked to read up on Stein and have a basic understanding of her life. However, when interviewed, they were asked questions that allowed for conjecture.
