"The gold rush" of our protagonist is a varied path and influenced by the materialism of our time, but without his knowledge, it will prove to be mystical.
The search for the gold metal will soon become an obsession for him, which will lead him first to try to reproduce it, then as a psychosis, to "discover" it in every situation of his daily life: in the city, through the windows of jewels, among the antiques, inside a cathedral etc...
Along this surreal itinerary he will meet a woman, apparently a fortune teller, who will reveal his recent past, showing him three cards. The fourth card will be that of luck, which he will interpret as an indication towards the goldmine. Thus begins his last journey, and having reached the top of the mountain, he will notice in the distance a female presence with open arms in front of the sun. In an attempt to get closer, the ethereal figure will fade, leaving a white dress on a rock. Reaching the point and discovering the dress, he finds the sun card and the pendant. So he realizes that it was the same woman he met the day before .., but above all he understands that he has found his "gold" represented by the sun. The last gesture of our seeker will be just a hymn to the sun, holding the pendant facing the "star of fire".
Our ancestors have long considered the sun as the center of the existence of mankind, while today we tend to overlook what its symbolism and its physical nature represent for each of us. As I wrote at the end of the movie "every morning when I rise I discover my gold, even when it is hidden behind the clouds ".
