The University of Rochester Ain Center for Entrepreneurship's Buzz Lab Boot Camp: Four Saturdays for a Better Business, is designed for entrepreneurs, small business owners and aspiring small business owners in the greater Rochester community. The program is supported by a University Center grant from the Economic Development Administration within the U.S. Department of Commerce. Session 1, Innovation and Strategies for Growth, took place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, and covered the following topics: Management of Ideas, Funding Sources, Business Management, Bootstrapping and Managing Employees. Instructors and guest speakers included: Mark Wilson, Neworks, LLC, and Simon Business School; Jan Pisanczyn, NYS SBDC; and Bob Tobin, Simon Business School (retired).
