In November 2011, a new project was born. I fell in love with it immediately and decided to follow it with my camera from day one to make a feature documentary about it.
"sLAB Costa Rica" is a Design-Build Initiative from NYIT Assistant Professor and LEED Architect Tobias Holler (hollerarchitecture.com), where he and his Students want to help build a Recycling and Education Center in Nosara Costa Rica. It all started with a design competition and the winning teams got a flight ticket to Costa Rica to research the garbage situation in this small jungle village. Which is in fact a big problem. Not only to the health of the community but also to the environment.
this is a trailer, about day one of that important project.
