Remember the insanely choreographed people forming patterns using boxes at the opening ceremony of the Olympic games in Beijing?
What if anyone could do the same, but without all the years of training thousands of people?
What if every person sitting at an arena could hold up their phones, and all their screens would merge into one big collective screen?
One seat = one pixel. Every seat has a unique number and location, allowing us to create a map of the arena. Just scan the barcode on your ticket and the app is set.
Imagine the classic »wave« in a new colorful format, display sponsored messages, chants, GOOOOAAAAL – or let the audience decide. Or you could turn the whole arena into a giant roulette table, and select a lucky winner…
We want to create an open platform allowing anyone to use this technology, but at the same time investigate possible business models for premium use cases.
