Illinois State Museum Curator of Anthropology Jonathan Reyman conducted a collection assessment and appraisal on the 19th century collection of Pueblo pottery and basketry that has been part of IWU's collections since the 19th century. Reyman shares his insights into the significance of the collection, the design elements present in selections from it, and the connections the pottery has to John Wesley Powell and the people who collected it. The presentation took place at The Ames Library's Beckman Auditorium on April 4, 2005. Information about all of the historical pieces in the collection is available at https://tinyurl.com/y9sxmf94.
