Africa is a continent famous for its wildlife. But there is one resident that is often overlooked and many do not realize even exists - the African penguin. Years of over fishing have seen the African penguin species plummet to frighteningly low numbers. Scientists at the University of Cape Town issuing a warning the species could be extinct by the year 2024. "A Place for Penguins" follows a team of scientists and filmmakers on an ambitious and unique project.to create the world's first artificially involved African penguin colony.
