The whole zone erupts in hoots, hollars, laughter and “f*ck yeahs!” Aggy had just flipped the biggest jump at the zone on his first try. The crew started buzzing. Text messages were being sent out faster than our thumbs could type. With that one trick we knew that the Black Collars had arrived.
These are hardworking riders, the guys that are making it happen in order to keep pushing for perfection on and off the bike. Norbs is an electrician, Bubba works at a motocross precision metal fab shop, Paul is a full-time digger and Mike works as a product designer; they all have day jobs. Soren gets a hall pass–he’s young enough to aspire to a driver’s license–and it’s easy to think Aggy may gallivant to contests, but he’s got more than a full-time job with Evil, managing content production, dealer outreach, customer service and helping bring Evil into new markets. Hard working, approachable and still hanging on to the passion that made you want to ride in the first place, The Black Collars are cut from a different cloth.
