Each year in the Fall semester the students, faculty and staff of Knoxville Catholic High School divide up by class and compete in various ways against each other to see which class has the most school spirit. Anyone who has witnessed this phenomenon realizes very quickly that the overall spirit of the school increases logarithmically as the week progresses.
In the fourth century c.e., St. Augustine said that "the charity of work seeks holy leisure." The students at KCHS work very, very hard and if you have fifteen minutes to spare, you can see how hard they play as well.
