'Kaffeslabberas' is a knitting club in the Copenhagen neighborhood of Amager. It's members are female pensioners, who's rich history and zest for life overshadows their advanced age.
This project partners up these ladies with Danish artists and designers, with the intent of creating a connection across generations, through the strengths of craftmanship, diversity and experience.
This series of short films accompany the book 'Til Kaffeslabberas', published by Gad.
In this episode, Danish fashion designer Mads Nørgaard meet up with 86-year old Erna, to discuss the value of both good and bad experience, why the young need the old and vice versa, and the importance of a good pair of socks.
