A few days ago I did some work for a Norwegian electricity company. They wanted a lot of photos of electricity/utility poles. The reason for this was to check out which pole’s needed maintenance. This way it’s a lot easier then driving or walking up to each pole and inspect them from the ground. The work was a lot more intense then I had imagined, we photographed 4 poles a minute, and each pole had around 6-10 photos taken.
While I was shooting pole photos I also filmed the entire job with a Go Pro camera. I had one Canon 5D which I took 5-6000 photos of utility poles. I also had a Nikon D3s around my neck, which I used to shoot landscape photos. check out the ending of the film for a few of the landscape photos.
