In the aftermath of the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak across North Alabama, the Huntsville/Madison County Leadership program wanted to help provide a public service to the local community. They enlisted the 13th class of their flagship Connect program to design effective solutions to promote awareness of severe weather and bolster local area resources in the recovery efforts. This public service announcement is produced by one of the class teams, to help promote awareness. John "Rusty" Russell, director of the Madison County EMA, tells how to be prepared in case of severe weather.
