Pendleton, Indiana - There’s no place like it this time of year and that place is the Town of Pendleton, Indiana when it comes to celebrating Christmas.
The 2011 “Christmas In Pendleton” event was bigger, brighter and even more fun than the ones years before. Sponsored by the Pendleton, Indiana Business Association and chaired by an amazing lady, Bonnie Clark.
It was a big day. The annual Snow Ball fight on State Street is always a big attraction which is followed by the “Christmas In Pendleton” parade through town.
It always snows in Pendleton, Indiana the day of the event. This year the snow total was measured by WTHR TV meteorologist Chikage Wilder shortly after the parade and I think this year another record snow fall was recorded.“Christmas In Pendleton” is a full day of fun, entertainment and a wonderful family event. If you missed this year’s event be sure mark your calendar now and make plans to attend the 2012 event.
There are several people and groups I need to thank this year during the 2011 “Christmas In Pendleton” event for their help and hospitality:
• The Town of Pendleton, Indiana and the staff at the Town Hall
• The Pendleton Business Association and members
• Bonnie Clark, Chairperson for Christmas In Pendleton
• Mr. Eddie Grogan, and his assistant, for sharing their wonderful Christmas music
• A One Horse Affair for the carriage ride
