In 2012, while recording their collaborative album, Arp Frique, Jasper Cremers and Dennis de Groot set out to make a documentary exploring the career of legendary Surinamese flutist and composer Ronald Snijders.
Featuring beautiful archival footage and interviews with Ed Motta, Antal RH, Franky Douglas, Eddy Veldman, Kees de Koning, Jorgen Raymann and others, the film offers a closer look into Ronald’s life, music and the history of the “kaseko jazz” genre.
