The Town of Eastham Strategic Planning Committee is developing a Strategic Plan to identify local priorities that will guide and focus town actions over the next five years.
The Town has contracted with the consultants from JM Goldson to prepare the strategic plan and to facilitate an interactive process that engages town officials, community members and local stakeholders. Eastham’s town officials, volunteers, residents, and businesses have been actively planning many facets of the community over the last decade. This strategic planning process is not starting from scratch but is building on the robust collection of planning work that has come before.
The schedule for completing the Strategic Plan is roughly 8 months, begun in October 2018 and wrapping up in June 2019. The planning process consists of four phases:
1. Data Analysis of Key Town Reports
2. Report and Test Findings with Town Committees and Boards 3. Public Forums and Community Outreach
4. Plan Preparation and Presentation of Results
