Just over two decades ago, Alice Springs was inundated with the one of the largest floods on record in Central Australia.
I, Alex Nelson, was living south of town where I was effectively isolated by the Todd River that had burst its banks.
Most of the images captured at the time show us what happened from the town's perspective whereas I caught all the flood action downstream.
