Arati, a Colorado Springs mother who had a difficult time re-entering the workforce after having her sons, is now on her way to a promising career in IT with the certifications she earned through The Women's Foundation of Colorado WAGES grantee CPCD.
She is excited for the growth opportunities her chosen field provides. She is less anxious about her future and her sons’ futures, because she is no longer torn between paying rent or paying for child care. Instead, she will be able to save for their education and her own retirement.
Arati and her sons are on their way from surviving to thriving, and our economy will grow, too!
The work of The Women’s Foundation of Colorado intersects with all of us – as mothers, daughters, partners, employees, employers, and community members who care. Join us: wfco.org
