An excerpt from Russian filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein's movie October - Ten Days That Shook the World (aka Oktyabr, original foreign title) from 1927 with a soundtrack from Montreal based post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The name of the song is East Hastings, album F# A# (Infinity). This song was also used in Danny Boyle's sci-fi horror movie 28 Days Later from 2002. Footage has been slightly edited in that intertitles and a few short scenes have been left out. According to Internet Archive, October was a film commissioned by the Soviet government to honour the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution.
