Coram Deo is our yearly summer retreat at 180remix in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Last year, the theme was "Breaking Rank" which was also the name of our second drama performed... And God did some awesome things through it!
I wanted a much more 'cinematic-teen-drama' style with this one. My direction was, "Just stand their, turn your head, and look cool!"
You'll notice attempted shadows and affects with the text, such as Brendan's name fitting half-way through the glass. But I do have to apologize for the kerning.
Coincidentally, this was the only video I did for "Breaking Rank," as Aaron Bettencourt did the bulk of it on his own.
The song is by Emery, "The Party Song."
The red-shirted-Kevin-effect at the end correlates to the end of the drama, which correlated to the fliers made for Coram Deo, which singled out a single stick figure among stick figures by a red tint. The point was to stand out above the rest by following Christ and not giving up hope in Him.
I have to say it was effective.
