If granted any wish, what do we wish for and how do our wishes change over time?
In 2006, I went into my first grade son's public elementary school in Raleigh, NC, and asked his classmates, "if you could have any wish in the world, what would it be?"
I shot portraits of them holding their hand-written wishes.
In 2011, on the verge of middle school, I returned to shoot the same kids.
Here they are, at 6 and 11, wishes and dreams in hand.
