What is it to find love and love someone?
"Perfect Love, Perfect Selfishness" is a short digital film that explores as its subject, the enmity that can grow within a disintegrating co-dependent relationship. This is represented by gestural movements derived from dance improvisation.
This is film is my Master's Thesis for Auckland University of Technology (NZ). It is heavily influenced by Martha Graham, Pina Bausch and Jan Svankmajer, as well as Edvard Munch and his portrayal of the mythical "Woman" in its earlier stages of development.
