The KNVI | SOD asked (professional association for government information managers; see knvi.nl) documentary maker Barbara van den Bogaard to make a film about the power and value of information and the influence on our contemporary (information) society. ACCESS was the result.
'ACCESS!' Is the 2nd documentary of SOD organisation and with that a sequel to the film 'Everything is Information' from 2015. This time we look at the influence of information on (information) society, the consequences of the ever-increasing digitization of information and the ability to manage this information. Who is actually "in control"? And what does that mean for the Dutch government, companies and the role of the Information Professional?
The trade magazine Od devoted a special edition to ACCESS!. You can view the trade journal here: sdu.nl/pdf/od/
Again we succeeded in connecting interesting people, in the form of thinkers and doers, to this documentary.
