The Roach family of Alton, Kansas holds their 15th annual old-fashioned wheat harvest in this new feel-good documentary from Fent’s Post Productions. Described as a “living-history museum”, we join multi-state attendees for this rare glimpse of antique farm equipment in action.
Part one features a pre-combine header, a mule-driven plow, interviews and great instrumental Celtic, bluegrass and country music tracks! This program was captured in full high-definition on a one-hundred-plus degree day deep in rural Kansas. It is also known as "post rock country" and the birthplace of Russell Stover. Enjoy this unique event begun by 89-year-old farmer Clifford Roach!
