Ok, before you experts get on my case about the keying technique understand this was done quickly. I used a ReflectMedia type setup, only one light on me and very quickly edited it. I have not done chromakey in a while. I must say, I was trying to see how the key would look using 4:2:2 color space that the Samurai would generate out of the SDI port on my EX1. All in all not bad. I don't have a dedicated chromakey area. I simply threw up the fabric, planted a Rifa light and hoped I had the camera in focus. It's hard being me, I tell ya! Anyway, I hope this provides some idea how the Atomos Samurai processes footage for keying. I may not pull the perfect key, but I cook a mean pizza and other things in my Big Green Egg (items I used for the background)!
