Jennifer Horsley, from Habitat Floral and I worked together to create a promo video that was not so much about promoting, but showing Jennifer's friendly, knowledgeable and helpful personality. I believe that business owners have a tremendous natural resource within themselves- simply to tell their audience the positive attributes of who they are. Promoters don't necessarily need to come out and say "I am a helpful person", but can demonstrate their helpfulness by giving the viewer tips and ideas to improve their lives, or give advice and solutions to problems they may be having- taking a less invasive approach to marketing. It's a show vs shout approach. Customers purchase from those they trust and like personally. A genuine smile and a twinkle in the eye can say "do business with me" more so than coming out and saying "trust me, please do business with me."
