I shot this footage as an opening sequence for a short film I worked on this year, but it wasn't what the director was looking for. So I made it into this.
CAMERA: Canon EOS 550D
LENS: Canon 28mm f/2.8

Invoking a feeling of ‘lost but found’, this short film by Alex Langridge captures both the soul of the subject and the beauty that surrounds her. Life, age, and death are all personified in a short clip that in a beautifully color graded example of what can come out of our Pancake Canon Picture Style. In the artists own words, this was shot with a bigger intention – for an opening sequence in a film that never made use of the footage. We say “cheers to that”… it is stunning as it is in short form.
