With artists such as Lady Gaga and Rihanna hitting the headlines for their provocative and questionable dress and stage presence. Fresh Box TV have been working with a group of young people to determine if the music industry has become inappropriately sexualised.
The group decided to conduct research starting from the 1960’s through to the preset day, looking at icons such as the Beatles and Madonna. They also took into consideration the developments in technology such as the internet and music television.
Using a combination of techniques including vox pops, interviews and piece to camera the group have produced a short documentary with their findings.
This piece has also been submitted as part of their college work, plus as it was in partnership with Band In A Box TV the group had the added experience of working with a actual client. Plus the film was featured on the Band In A Box TV web site.
