The I Ped is a participatory public art project.
The I Ped is a tool for walking and observing your environment. Equipped with a compass, notepad and pen, it is a more rustic version of your mobile device, in the form of a walking stick.
This clip includes documentation of the I Ped when it was installed at VALISE gallery in Vashon, WA. Multiple I Peds were available for check out at the gallery, and the records of peoples' walks were displayed in the gallery.
Thanks to 4Culture, Jordan Bell and Amanda Stone. The I Ped was created as part of "A Low Impact Vehicle Exhibition" by artist Vaughn Bell.
