We went out to the field on a beautiful fall morning, to fly my T-28 Trojan in formation with Tom's Spitfire Mk IX. The Trojan carried an on-board 808 #11 camera, while the Spitfire lead the pattern. There were a couple of close calls (around 10 ft.) but the flight was smooth throughout. It was a bit windy, at around 10 Mi/h and gusty. The Spitfire had a perfect landing, though the Trojan flipped over due to high grass in the runway. Both birds were unharmed in the production of this short film.
