A short documentary about Air quality issues associated with hydraulic fracturing (otherwise know as fracking) in the Marcellus Shale for Natural Gas. This video was produced for educational purposes in the fall of 2011 by a group of six students (myself included) from Bucknell University, located in Lewisburg, PA. The video was a project for the Environmental Residential College at Bucknell. Most footage, the GIS, and all interviews and voice-overs were shot and receded by the group. All editing was done by students.
Please note that this video was produced with the intent of focusing on air quality issues surrounding hydrofracking. Hydrofracking is a very complex and controversial issue, and this short is only tip of the iceberg. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to do your own research into the issue.
