The event was called Obamako. In addition to the music, there was a debate about how Obama's presidency would affect the African people.
The band is called La Symphonie de la Kora. The band is led by Madou Sidiki Diabaté. He is in the center and is the younger brother of famed Malian kora player Toumani Diabate.
