The Joint Committee on Standards for Educational Evaluation revised the professional standards for program evaluation in the recent 3rd edition of the publication. A panel of two evaluators will discuss the changes to the most recent edition of the standards, the implications of the standards on the work of an evaluator, and how the emphasis on culture and context impacts the field. The discussion will include ample time for questions from the audience and responses from the panelists.

The panel features Dr. Daniel Stufflebeam, chair of the Joint Committee for the first two editions of the Standards, and Dr. Rodney Hopson, co-editor on the 3rd edition.

This talk took place September 29, 2011 as part of Dr. Hopson's participation as a Visiting Scholar at Western Michigan University.
