There is simply no subject more important than the resurrection of Jesus. If Jesus wasn't raised, then the gospel isn't true and we are without hope. What we'll see today is that the evidence for the resurrection is incredibly strong. In fact, the skeptic is clearly at a disadvantage, for all the evidence points in the direction of the risen Lord. Our goal today is primarily two-fold. First, we will be looking at the preponderance of evidence in support of the resurrection of Jesus. It is my hope and prayer that the Lord will use this information to do three things: (1) to bolster the faith of Christians, (2) to better equip believers to give a defense for this most important historical doctrine, and (3) to help skeptics to see the truthfulness of the Christian faith. Secondly, we will be looking at the implications of the resurrection of Jesus. If it is true, and we believe that it is, what does it mean for Jesus, His Church, and the world? There is no greater joy for God's church than knowing that our Savior is alive, has conquered death, and has blazed a trail back to the Father for us! Amen and amen!
