Cristián Unduragga graduated from Catholic University and that same year won his first prize as a young architect in the Chilean Biennial of Architecture together with Ana Luisa Deves and Alejandro Simonetti. One year later, he founded Cristián Unduragga Deves Arquitectos with Ana Luisa Deves. In 40 years of experience, the firm has been recognized in may national and international forums. Currently, Undurraga Deves is collaborating with Konrad Brunner on the civic district for the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá in the heart of the Barrio La Candelaria.
Unduragga spoke at the University of Washington campus in Seattle on March 6, 2019. His lecture, titled "Conversations From the South,"was the 2019 Mahlum Endowed Lecture and was part of the Department of Architecture Spring 2019 lecture series.
