WONDERWALL is an Alexander Denysenko's short film, which tells the story of unconditional love that helps overcome the loss of a loved one.
A musical story follows a young man whose heart has been broken due to the lost of a loved one, and he is trying to escape reality. But his surreal experience while in the Chernobyl exclusion zone gives him a chance to discover himself.
WONDERWALL has been selected to the official competition of more than 40 film festivals wordwile, and won 20+ awards. Among them: “Best of Festival Award”, “Best Music Video Award”, “Best Narrative Award”, “Best Cinematography Award”, “Best Acting Award”, and “Best Direction Award”.
The official partner of the film is the world-biggest, international, United Nations-accredited Charity - Adi Roche’s Chernobyl Children International(CCI). CCI is bringing help to the Children affected by the disaster of 1986.
The purpose of this film is to show the theme of Chernobyl from an emotionally new point of view, without the traditional sense of fear and anxiety; to inspire and give hope, being a beacon of light into the many hearts that are filled with grief from their loss.
