Stereoscopic video documenting the, "Dead Man's Curve," section of Sunset Boulevard. This was done as part of the, "Dead Man's Shuttle," project that shuttled riders along the deadly curve located at Sunset Boulevard and N. Whittier Drive, known as “Dead Man’s Curve.” Riders were given a brief history on the curve and its influence upon Hollywood celebrities, Los Angeles, and popular culture, before they climb into Dead Man’s Shuttle and ride along the deadly curve.
This is also a testbed for a larger project that looks at the micro and macro decision making that make up daily commutes in LA.
This footage was shot on a pair of GoPro Heros, graded with Neo3D, and edited in Final Cut Pro 7. Sound was recorded with Sanken Cubs and the Sound Devices 722 field recorder.
