This is a rough animation I did to test the rig and deformations of the character. Also it was for client approval of the overall look.
Its short and basic but I think it ended up kinda funny so i decided to post it.
I made it at our studio for a Christmas commercial of a new mall.
I needed some custom stuff so i basically redid a system from scratch based on 3ds Max Biped bones.
Since i had to render it basically in a weekend at the same time as i finished the animations i didn't use Final Gather or GI. So the lighting is very simple and custom.
Done in 3ds Max and Mudbox, rendered with Mental Ray and post work in After Effects.
