Script (minus James’ comments)
James Logan owns and manages Athelstaneford farm near North Berwick, East Lothian in Scotland. James is the eleventh generation of his family to run the farm.
Athelstaneford employs 11 people and has over 1400 acres of land. Their main business is growing and selling potatoes, however the business also provides value added services to others through its on-site factory - managing a range of tasks such as sorting, peeling and packaging potatoes for clients like Marks and Spencer.
James wouldn’t be without the union and feels it’s essential that ALL Scottish Farmers and Crofters work together in a continually changing marketplace…
