Script (minus David’s comments)
David Smith bought Cloffrickford Farm in Ellon, Aberdeenshire in 1962. He runs the farm with his Wife and three employees.
The farm has 800 acres of land which is primarily used for growing malt and feeding barley. David also has a herd of Beef cows and some Wind Turbines which bring significant income to the business.
David’s had no shortage of challenges throughout the last 56 years, many of which he believes could have turned out badly if it hadn’t been for his membership of the NFU Scotland.
