Through the vast empty and dead wooded areas surrounding the campus of the University of Michigan, stands a vast complex of gears, pulleys, and various other forms of machinery which exist in order to maintain several large greenhouse structures, aimed at maintaining and spurring natural plant life in the dead cold of the Michigan winter.

This was created by the team above for the Society for Moving Images about the Built Environment, "Story about a Place" competition. It was a first place finalist for the Student category in this competition.
The film also was a winner for best cinematography, in the lower level 300 film section, at the FVSA (UofM Film & Video Student Association) Lightworks Film Festival at the University of Michigan.
