The International Space Station was scheduled to cross in front of the Moon (or transit the Moon) at 3:51 to 3:52 AM EST on Saturday 10 December 2011. The ground track line was coming from the north-west, near Orangeville, through the Caledon villages, and then over the west end of Toronto.
The ISS will be seen at the 1:58 to 1:59 mark traveling rapidly from top-middle straight down.
A number of RASC Toronto Centre members met up in the parking lot of Humber Bay Park East.
This video was made with the Centre's loaner program refractor telescope and CCD camera. The audio track was captured separately on a Sony voice recorder. Prepared by Blake Nancarrow.
