Space Invaders creates the uncanny experience of having our personal physical space invaded by virtual bodies. When the viewer enters the VR space, they find they are surrounded by 3 MR scanned figures which is it possible to move through and into. Gary James Joynes created an original audio track using recordings from the original MR scans.
